APRIL 2015 MEETING

April 20, 2015

The Wooly Wonders Fiber Arts Guild meetings for April will be on SATURDAY, April 25th at 10:00 am.

We will be meeting at the NEVERENDING STORIES BOOK SHOP which is located in downtown Franklin at 1252 Liberty Street (the same door as the Cupcakery had). We will be meeting downstairs where there are tables and chairs. You are welcome to bring your own beverages to the meeting.

Remember that we need your contributions for our group project which we agreed to participate in a few meetings ago.  We are planning on decorating a tree for the Franklin “Yarn Bombing” display in May.  Our theme is “A Hobbit House.”  We will need the knitted and crocheted contributions from our members at the April meeting as the display will be put up the following weekend.  Tina is making an arch I-cord and door for the house and Kathie has made some flowers and a sun.  Kathie is also working on blocks using green yarn from her stash to act as grass.  We can use anything in any color.  We need knit or Crochet squares, rectangles or strips which will be put all together for our display.   The more items we get, the bigger and nicer our display will be.

Dues for 2015 are $20.00.  Dues are used mainly for our community services projects.

Please bring any of the Knitting Daily DVD’s that you may have borrowed to the meeting.  We have some new members that may like to borrow them and several of them have been out for months.

Don’t forget to bring your show and tell items!

We hope to see you at the April meeting on SATURDAY, April 25th!
