Hello Everyone,

It has been a long busy summer for everyone, but now that Fall is firmly in place it is time to get back to our fibery pursuits.

For the October Wooly Wonders Fiber Arts Guild meeting we have decided to do something fun and different!

Our group will be meeting on Saturday, October 27th at 10:00 am at the Pink Champagne Cupcakery which is located in downtown Franklin at 1252 Liberty Street . If you need directions, please call them at 814-437-0000 (that is not a typo – that really is their phone number!).

We will be meeting in their back room where there will be a table and chairs. If we end up with a small group we can move to the front area where there are couches to sit on.

The Cupcakery is very excited to have our group meet there and they are not charging us any fee. Please consider purchasing some refreshments from them on our meeting days. Please do not bring in any food or drinks from other businesses.

The program for October will be a demonstration on how to make doll hair using cotton yarn. Please bring some cotton yarn and appropriate needle size. You could also bring scrap sock yarn and size 2-3 needles.

We will also play the game “The Last Knitter Standing.” Bring some worsted weight yarn and needles with you. We will all cast on some stitches to start with and then depending on if you answer your question correctly or not you will add or deduct stitches. At the end of the game the one with the most stitches wins!

Don’t forget to bring your show and tell items!

We hope to see you at the October meeting on Saturday, October 27th.
