And now for something completely different

July 8, 2009

Our group loves to learn new things and at our June meeting we learned about a new craft. It is called IRIS FOLDING.

Iris Folding is a method of taking colored strips of folded paper and then taping them into place over a pattern, creating a spiraling design that resembles the iris of an eye or camera.

These spiraling patterns can then be used to create unique greeting cards.

The most fun (and the hardest) part was choosing what papers to use as we had many gorgeous papers to choose from.

We were all able to leave the meeting with our own, one of a kind, handmade card.
